62 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the reason a request from a radio station (details supplied) in County Tipperary for a representative of his Department to participate in a programme about driving tests was refused; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Requests of this nature are a fairly frequent occurrence. It is not always possible, due to the demand on staff time and for a variety of other reasons, to accede to them.
