Question:47 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for the Marine if he will list the selected harbours which are to be included in the Fishery Harbour Programme 1989-1993.

Projects at the following harbours have been included for consideration in the Fishery Harbours Development Programme, 1989-1993: Killybegs, County Donegal; Dunmore East, County Waterford; Rossaveal, County Galway; Castletownbere, County Cork; Howth, County Dublin; Dingle, County Kerry; Greencastle, County Donegal; Burtonport, County Donegal; Darby's Point, County Mayo; Keelbeg, County Cork; Kilmore Quay, County Wexford; Clogherhead, County Louth; Arklow, County Wicklow; Portmagee, County Kerry; Scraggane, County Kerry; Renard, County Kerry; Carrigaholt, County Clare; Cladnageeragh, County Donegal; Roundstone, County Galway; Duncannon, County Wexford; Helvick, County Waterford; and Crosshaven, County Cork.
Significant investments have already been made at a number of these harbours, while site investigations and surveys which are necessary for the planning of harbour projects have been undertaken or are planned for a number of others. The implementation of the programme is monitored continuously and the programme will be reviewed in the light of progress made in its implementation.
