Question:105 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Justice the current legal status of a person (details supplied) who has recently been released from prison.

I could not undertake by way of response to a parliamentary question to comment in regard to an individual in the way requested by the Deputy. As well as that, the Deputy is effectively asking me for an interpretation of the law which is outside the scope of my official functions.
