76 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Justice if any member of the former anti-racketeering unit received payments from an outside source which were not refunded; and if she will make a statement on the matter in view of her previous statements.
As I informed the Deputy on 9 March 1994, I requested the Garda Commissioner to prepare a full report on the further serious allegations made concerning the anti-racketeering unit.
That investigation is now concluded and the report is being studied by the Commissioner prior to being forwarded to me.
