Question:24 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East) asked the Minister for Justice if a community garda will be appointed on a permanent basis to areas (details supplied) in Limerick.

I am informed by the Garda authorities that a community garda, based at Henry Street Garda station, was assigned to community policing duties in the areas in question on a permanent basis on 10 December, 1992.
