55 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the number and full details of the applications within his Department for job sharing which currently cannot be met due to the embargo on staff recruitment. [8002/96]
There is one application for job sharing on hands in my Department. This application predates the introduction of the embargo on staff recruitment to the Civil Service and it has not been possible to accede to if for reasons other than the embargo. In the period since the introduction of the embargo there have been no applications from staff in my Department to participate in the job sharing scheme.
