Bord Fáilte is anticipating growth from all the principal overseas markets in 1996 and the target set for overall growth in visitor numbers is 10 per cent over 1995. The most recent statistics from the Central Statistics Office for 1996 cover the period January to March and they indicate that visitor numbers are up 11 per cent over the same period in 1995, rising from 615,000 to 685,000.
