125 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Environment the progress, if any, that has been made on the shortterm elimination of ground-water faecal contamination in the Ballycroy area of County Mayo. [13175/96]
My Department has approved in principle the proposal by the Ballycroy group water scheme to provide new water abstraction facilities and associated trunk main. The group is, at present, preparing detailed plans and design data in respect of these works. As soon as these have been examined and approved by my Department, the group will be free to invite tenders.
