300 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if he will give details of the programme of meetings and dinner functions he intends to host in Ireland for the EU Council of Ministers in the context of Ireland's Presidency of the EU; the venues for such functions; the numbers attending the basis on which the venue was chosen; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I will be hosting one function and associated dinner involving Ministers of the European Union with responsibility for cultural and audiovisual matters and the Commission.
The meeting will be held in the Aula Maxima, University College, Galway, the associated dinner will be held in the Great Southern Hotel, Galway. I expect the attendance to be marginally in excess of 100, and the venues were chosen on the basis of their suitability for the purpose intended.
