Question:

128 Mr. Martin asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will award a non-contributory old age pension to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [10901/97]

The person concerned applied for a non-contributory old age pension on 14 March 1997.

Her file is currently with an investigating officer for investigation. When the investigation is complete, her file will be returned to the pension services office, College Road, Sligo for decision and the person concerned will be notified of the outcome without delay.
