185 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding the provision of a capital allocation to carry out works at a school (detailed supplied) in County Cork; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [12557/97]

My Department is currently liaising with the school to which the Deputy refers on how the accommodation needs can be met. This process is expected to be completed shortly. At this point, the question of funding does not arise.
