153 Mr. McGrath asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she will grant at least temporary work permits to refugees to enable positions to be filled for jobs where repeated advertisements have attracted only applications from refugees; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Non-nationals who are granted refugee status by the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform do not require work permits to take up employment in this country.
