215 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Finance if he will ensure that a specific allocation is made in the forthcoming budget to provide funding for the Centre for Independent Living; if he will ensure that this funding is provided on a long-term basis in view of the fact that FÁS will only provide funding for three years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have received a pre-budget submission from the Centre for Independent Living. As is the case with all pre-budget submissions, I can assure the Deputy that the matters raised will be borne in mind in the preparation of the forthcoming budget.
