402 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 647 of 2 November 1999, he has satisfied himself that a person on a VTOS course can obtain a meal for 60p; the plans, if any, he has to increase this amount; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The rate payable to VTOS participants is in line with that payable to participants in FÁS courses. It is my intention that this rate will continue to maintain parity with that of FÁS.
