263 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Health and Children the action he is taking with regard to a waiting list of over four years in the north Tipperary area under the special housing aid scheme for the elderly; his views on this situation; and the steps being taken to solve this problem. As the Deputy is aware, the housing aid scheme for the elderly in north Tipperary is administered by the Mid-Western Health Board on behalf of the Department of Environment and Local Government. I have asked the chief executive officer of the Mid-Western Health Board to investigate this matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
