Vol. 526 No. 1

Written Answers. - Home Help Service.

Willie Penrose

Question:

202 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Health and Children the other help that is available to a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease, and who is currently in receipt of home help care administered by the Midland Health Board for five hours per day, five days per week; if further help can be made available to her particularly at night; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26076/00]

The provision of a home help service for a person in County Westmeath is a matter for the Midland Health Board.

I have asked the chief executive officer of the Midland Health Board to investigate this matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
