158 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for Health and Children if he has received an application from the Western Health Board for funding for a new community nursing unit in Ballinrobe, County Mayo; and if he will make a financial allocation for same. [29120/00]

As the Deputy is aware, the provision of a community nursing unit in Ballinrobe, County Mayo, is a matter for the Western Health Board in the light of available capital funding and the board's service needs.
