169 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive additional payment to compensate for reduced REP scheme payment in 2000 due to the euro changeover conversion. [4837/01]

The EU Commission approved payment of this compensation on 12 January 2001. Preparations are at an advanced stage and it is anticipated that all payments will have issued by 10 March 2001.
