340 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for the delay in sanctioning an application for a sports hall for St. Mogue's College, Bawnboy, County Cavan; when this will be sanctioned; and when it will go to tender. [6532/01]
The application referred to by the Deputy is being examined at present in the planning section of my Department. The most up-to-date statistics available on enrolment and demographic trends in the area are being examined with a view to the preparation of an enrolment projection for St. Mogue's College.
A decision on the application will issue to County Cavan Vocational Education Committee at the earliest possible date following completion of the above process.
