465 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government his plans for the establishment of a funding scheme for social and voluntary housing projects that deliver services to people with special needs; when a decision will be taken on this matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is considering the issues which would be involved in any scheme to assist housing associations to provide care and support services in voluntary housing projects where there is a need for such services. At this stage, however, I am not in a position to indicate when such a scheme might be introduced.
