599 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the reason the proposals for the Glanmire area under the local drug task force plans were not approved; and the reason the proposals have been transferred for consideration to the YPFSF Programme. [10977/02]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the proposals for the Glanmire area submitted by the Cork local drugs task force have been approved by the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Social Inclusion and Drugs in the context of the phase II allocations to task force areas.
