207 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance the position in regard to final details on site acquisition for the Garda station at Leixlip, County Kildare; if full and final approval has been given for the design and building of the station; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13899/02]
The Commissioners of Public Works have agreed terms on the purchase of a site and the Chief State Solicitor's office is currently finalising matters relating to title. All being in order, the contracts should be signed in the near future.
Once the site has been acquired, the design and building stage will be progressed in consultation with the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform.
