300 Ms Enright asked the Minister for Education and Science the third level institutions which are approved to operate the student assistance/access fund; and the amount of money allocated to each of these institutions in each of the past five years. [21472/02]

My Department allocates funding to the approved third level institutions to operate a student assistance/access fund. Generally speaking, only those colleges approved under my Department's higher education grants scheme are allocated funding in this regard. The funding allocated in the past five years is as follows:
