424 Mr. P. Breen asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when consultants will be appointed to carry out detailed design work which is based on recent recommendations in the Ennis main drainage study; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21248/02]
The Ennis-Clarecastle sewerage scheme is included in my Department's water services investment programme for 2002 to 2004 to start construction in 2004. The preliminary report for the scheme submitted by Ennis Town Council in January 2002 has since been revised and my Department is awaiting the submission of the revised report from the council.
