The group in question submitted a capital grant application under the Equal Opportunities Childcare Programme 2000-2006 in November 2002. This application is currently undergoing a thorough assessment by Area Development Management Limited which administers the programme on my behalf. As is the case with all large scale projects, this application was referred to a building specialist and is currently in the final stages of the assessment process.
On completion of the assessment process, the project will be referred to the programme appraisal committee, chaired by my Department, for a recommendation before I make a decision on the application.
In the interim, it would be premature of me to comment further on this capital grant application.
