I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 27A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Michael P. Kitt - the modern language and primary schools initiative, (2) Deputy Olivia Mitchell - the anomalies that exist between and within counties in establishing waivers for the household charge in relation to unfinished housing estates; (3) Deputy Robert Dowds - the industrial dispute at Eddie Stobart hauliers, Ballymun, Dublin; (4) Deputy Derek Keating - the need to address the issue of inappropriate TV advertising; (5) Deputy Michael Healy-Rae - the refusal of planning permission for the National Children's Hospital; (6) Deputy Dan Neville - the need to appoint a permanent director to the National Suicide Prevention Office; (7) Deputy Catherine Murphy - the need to make provision for landlords who do not reduce rents in line with reductions in rent assistance payments; (8) Deputy Eamonn Maloney - the impact of Departmental savings to date; (9) Deputy Brian Stanley - the demand by Greyhound for €3 million to cover the cost of subsiding waiver customers in Dublin; (10) Deputy James Bannon - the need to reconsider the position in relation section 23; (11) Deputy Kevin Humphreys - the proposed incinerator at Poolbeg in Dublin; (12) Deputy Alan Farrell - the need to provide adequate primary school places in Balbriggan, County Dublin; (13) Deputy Martin Ferris - mortgage lenders with convictions in other jurisdictions; (14) Deputy Mick Wallace - the release of financial information to a committee of the Bundestag prior to it being presented to Dáil Éireann; (15) Deputy Clare Daly - the European Central Bank loan yesterday of €529 billion to some 800 financial institutions; and, (16) Deputy Joe Higgins - European Central Bank loan yesterday of €529 billion to some 800 financial institutions. The matters raised by Deputies Kitt, Catherine Murphy, Maloney and Neville have been selected for discussion.
