Vol. 1048 No. 7

Visit of Isle of Man Delegation

Before moving to Leaders' Questions, I ask Members to join me in extending a warm céad míle fáilte to my colleague and very good friend from the Isle of Man, the President of the Tynwald, Mr. Laurence Skelly. He is joined by a delegation of members of the Legislative Council from the House of Keys on a study visit to the Houses of the Oireachtas. We welcome the group and hope their visit is a fruitful one. Theirs is the longest established parliament in the world. I do not know about them coming here to learn from us; perhaps it should be the other way around.

They are here to learn how not to do things.

They are heartily welcome and I thank them for being with us today.
