The draft minutes of the last meeting of the joint committee on 21 September have been circulated. Are they agreed? Agreed.
We lost half an hour this morning. We had intended to start at 9 a.m., but we received a letter from a House official which stated this would not be appropriate. I propose that we write to the Chairman of the Houses of the Oireachtas Commission to express our displeasure at what happened and our wish that meetings with a 9 a.m. start be facilitated in the future. I propose that we hold over other correspondence until our meeting next Wednesday.
