I now come to correspondence from the sub-committee on European scrutiny. The sub-committee has examined the following proposal falling within the remit of the Department of Foreign Affairs. COM (2004) 609 and COM (2004) 610 concern proposals regarding Council decisions on the position to be adopted by the Community within the ACP-EC Council of Ministers on the amendment of decision No. 1/2003 of the Council regarding the accession of the Democratic Republic of Timor L'Est to the ACP-EC partnership agreement and adjusting the financial resources of the ninth European development fund further to the accession. It is on page two of the EU scrutiny document circulated.
