I thank the committee for electing me. I have been a member of a health board for more than 20 years. This is my first time to serve on this committee and I look forward to participating as vice-Chairman.
I congratulate the Chairman, Deputy O'Keeffe, the vice-Chairman, Deputy Moloney, on their respective elections. As a member of the previous committee, I agree that the Chairman has always been very fair and effective.
I concur with Deputy McManus's sentiments and congratulate the Chairman and the vice-Chairman on their respective elections, or perhaps that should be "selections".
I concur with the sentiments expressed by previous Deputies. I have always found the Chairman to be fair and I look forward to working with him again. I congratulate him, and Deputy Moloney, on gaining their positions.
