JOINT COMMITTEE ON SOCIAL AND FAMILY AFFAIRS debate -
Wednesday, 20 Feb 2008

Business of Joint Committee.

Apologies have been received from Senator McFadden. The minutes of the meeting of 6 February have been circulated to members. Are they agreed? Agreed. I propose that the committee continue in private session to deal with a number of housekeeping matters before we discuss the issue of social welfare fraud and the habitual residency condition with the Minister for Social and Family Affairs. Is that agreed? Agreed.

The joint committee went into private session at 2.32 p.m. and resumed in public session at 2.40 p.m.
