Election of Vice Chairman

The next item on the agenda is the election of Vice Chairman. I call for nominations for the position.

The agenda I received did not include that item, so I wonder if we could defer it until the next meeting.

We should be able to elect someone now.

The nominations have been received, although they were not received before the agenda was finalised. May we proceed?

I congratulate the Deputy on his election. As the remaining items on the agenda are essentially housekeeping matters, I propose that we go into private session for the remainder of the meeting in order to deal with them. Is that agreed? Agreed.

The joint committee went into private session at 10.10 a.m. and adjourned at 10.20 a.m. until Wednesday, 27 June 2012.
