(2) an Roinn Talmhaíochta do dháiliú do Phádraig Mac Gabhann, T.D.; agus
(3) an Roinn Sláinte agus an Roinn Leasa Shóisialaigh do dháiliú do Shéamas Ó Riain.

The Clerk has received the following letter from the Secretary to the Government:

Clerk of the Seanad,
I am to inform you that Deputy Pádraig Mac Gabhann having been nominated by the Taoiseach with the approval of Dáil Eireann to be a member of the Government, was, on the 22nd inst., appointed a member of the Government by the President.
I am further to inform you that, in pursuance of Section 4 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1946, the Taoiseach did, on the 22nd inst.—
(1) terminate the assignment of the Department of Agriculture to Séamas Ó Riain, T.D.,
(2) assign the Department of Agriculture to Pádraig Mac Gabhann, T.D.; and
(3) assign the Department of Health and the Department of Social Welfare to Séamas Ó Riain.
