I have notice from Senator Denis Cregan that, on the Motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
The bringing into operation of the Cork Free Port regulations by the Minister for Industry and Commerce.
I regard the matter raised by Senator Cregan as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken at the conclusion of business.
Before I call on the Leader of the House for the Order of Business I want to make an announcement — because I am afraid that the members of the Committee on Procedure and Privileges would not get the notice on time — that a meeting was fixed for this evening for 5.30 p.m. but because there is a Mass for the late Senator Jack Daly I have brought the meeting forward to 5 p.m. to allow Members to attend.
