I move:
That the report to the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform by the Commissioner of An Garda Síochána on the fatal shooting of John Carthy at Abbeylara, County Longford, on 20 April, 2000, be referred to the Joint Committee on Justice, Equality, Defence and Women's Rights in accordance with paragraph 1(a)(v) of the Orders of Reference of that Committee.
