Vol. 169 No. 2

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Cosgrave that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to sanction the building project application for St. Anne's national school, Shankill, having regard to the delays that have taken place and in particular the ongoing dangers to the pupils attending the school.

I have also received notice from Senator Costello of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to outline his plans for dealing with the hardship and damage caused by the recent flooding in East Wall, North Wall and Ringsend and the need to conduct an investigation into the causes of the flooding and to put in place measures to prevent such flooding occurring in the future.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
