Vol. 237 No. 6

Business of Seanad

I have received notice from Senator Martin Conway that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to provide an exemption for motor tax and vehicle registration tax for drivers of passengers who are blind or have a visual impairment.

I have also received notice from Senator Thomas Byrne of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health, the Health Service Executive and other statutory agencies, including the Environmental Protection Agency and Irish Water, to investigate a cluster of cases of Guillain-Barré syndrome in east County Meath.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion and they will be taken now.
