I welcome our new Vice-Chairman, Deputy Martin Brady, to the proceedings and congratulate him on his appointment to this position by the Taoiseach. I hope he follows in the footsteps of the previous Vice-Chairman. If he does so, he will have a bright future and further promotion in the offing. I have known him for quite a long time and he is a hard-working, dedicated Member of the Oireachtas.
