The Select Committee has considered the agreement between the Governments of Ireland and Romania regarding the readmission of citizens and third country citizens illegally residing in the territories of their respective states, which was signed in Bucharest on 12 May 2000, copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 26 May 2000.
