It was indicated upon the enactment of the Children and Family Relationships Act 2015 that an appropriate transition period would be required in order to carry out significant preparatory work to facilitate a seamless transition to the new regulatory framework laid out in the Act. That work is under way, involving officials from my Department. It is intended that Parts 2 and 3 will be commenced later this year.
