View answerI re-appointed Ms. Maura McGrath to a second term as Chairperson of the Board of the National Concert Hall with effect from 24 June 2021, as provided for in section 9.1.5 of the Guidelines for Appointments to State Boards. The term of appointment was for five years.
I recently appointed Ms. McGrath as Chairperson of the Board of the Arts Council. At the time of that appointment it was noted that a new Chair of the Board of the National Concert Hall will be appointed in due course. Arrangements for the selection of a new Chair of the National Concert Hall are being finalised at present.
