1415. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Health the number of elderly persons who could not be discharged from Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan despite being medically approved for discharge due to no suitable alternative healthcare facility being available; the longest time an elderly person or persons remained at the hospital beyond their medically approved discharge date during this same period; the average time it takes for an older person to be transferred to a nursing home or convalescence facility when medically approved to be discharged from the hospital to any such facility, in each of the past five years, in tabular form [46766/24]
