250. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications to provide a list, with the job titles and salaries, of all ministerial staff, and Department private secretaries. [17053/25]
View answerI can confirm to the Deputy the job title, and where appropriate, the salaries of my Ministerial staff: One Special Advisor.
No salary is paid by the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications. The salary will be included in the Department of Transport's answer to the Deputy, as there is a single payroll for me as Minister across two Departments.
One Private Secretary who is at point one of the HEO scale and is in receipt of the applicable allowance.
My Department has recently run a competition for two Private Secretary posts for Ministers of State Dillon and Dooley, respectively.
The posts are in the process of being filled through competition and they will also be in receipt of the applicable allowance.
