View answerMy Department has an approved policy on the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence which is based on recommendations from the National Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC) Cyber Security Guidance on Generative AI for Public Sector Bodies and DPENDR’s Interim Guidelines for Use of AI in the Public Service.
Training was provided to 25 staff, as part of a proof of concept, regarding possible use cases of Gen AI, including improved efficiency and productivity. This will inform decisions regarding the potential use of Gen AI in the future.
