Deputy Pat Casey asked the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government his views on whether a major mistake was made by him and his officials in the drafting of section 28(2) of the Planning and Development (Housing) and Residential Tenancies Act 2016; and his plans to hold anyone to account for this error in view of the costly effect it is having and will have on delaying major housing developments for which planning permission expires.
