Deputy Patrick Nulty asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if his attention has been drawn to the reports that hundreds of families have been forcibly evicted from two makeshift camps in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, namely around 600 families from Camp Place Sainte-Anne and about 84 families from another camp called Fanm Koperative; if his attention has been further drawn to concerns raised by Amnesty International that these residents, and others in displacement camps, continue to be forcibly evicted in contravention of international human rights standards; if he will raise the matter with his counterpart in Haiti; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
