This is an application under the Freedom of Information Act. The Oireachtas website States at [https://www.oireachtas.ie/en/members/salaries-and-allowances/parliamentary-standard-allowances/ ] In order to receive their TAA, Members must personally record their attendance in Leinster House once daily at any time during the day or evening when Leinster House is open. This can be done on a time terminal or by signing the Daily Attendance Record. I am seeking copies of all Daily Attendance Records for the Current Session of the Dail (ie 10 March 2016-present). Please note: I had previously requested 'written sign-in logs for TDs (FOI Ref: R1707) but was refused on the basis that no such records exist because, according to the Decision Maker, "All members have their attendances recorded electronically and, as such there are no records relating to this part of the request." It seems to me to be hard to reconcile this basis for refusal on the one hand, with the Oireachtas's own guidelines, which refer to the signing of the Daily Attendance Record. It may be, however, that FOI Ref R1707 was refused because of the way in which I had worded my request. For the avoidance of doubt: and to repeat, in this FOI, I am seeking copies of the Daily Attendance Records
