[Meeting 17 October 2019] Response to PAC correspondence dated 25 June 2019 (i) Whether the Commissioner was aware of the verbal complaint made by Ms. Margiotta (ii) Whether the Commissioner was aware that a mediation process had been put in place before a formal written complaint was lodged - as per public policy - when Ms. Margiotta was arrested over a sick note (iii) A breakdown of the number of exit surveys from individuals employed under the Garda Slochana vote who cited bullying and/or harassment issues in their exit surveys. Please include a separate breakdown of these exit surveys for Store Street Garda Station. No personal details are requested, just the number of exit surveys that mention bullying and/or harassment (iv) The number of cases in recent years of civilians or members of An Garda Slochana who were arrested for suspected fraud related to sick notes (v) The related policy and practice within An Garda Siochana for dealing with suspected fraud related to sick leave. Please provide details on the criteria for escalating such a matter from a HR issue to being grounds for an arrestable offence
