Visiting Parliament

People may visit Leinster House in the course of parliamentary business or as part of a tour sponsored by a Member.

Visitors on parliamentary business

Visitors to the Houses of the Oireachtas on parliamentary business should be booked via our bespoke visitor management system, available on the Plinth.

Visitors may be meeting Members or appearing before a committee, for example. Visitors to Leinster House must use the Kildare Street entrance only.

Tours

Contact your local TD or Senator to find out more about visiting the historic Leinster House complex.

Tours should be booked through the tour booking system on the Plinth.

As there is usually high demand for tours advance booking is essential. The audiovisual room is available for Members who wish to address a visiting school or constituency group.

Regrettably, public and walk-up tours are not currently available.

Virtual tour

Alternatively, take a peek at Leinster House, a jewel of 18th-century architecture, with our immersive virtual tour.
