Vol. F No. 16

ADJOURNMENT. - DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

The SECRETARY FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT mentioned that with the exception of the last paragraph the report of the Department dealt with the formation of the Commission on Local Government, and was accordingly covered by the previous decision. He now moved the adoption of that paragraph.
C. O HUIGIN (Leix) seconded the motion, and pointed out that with regard to what the Dáil had now approved of it should be understood that the Councils were not to take any action until definite instructions were issued to them.
The motion was put and agreed to.
